To All Team Captains:
The executive has been asked to clarify the new rule on the "Scoring Line".
The "Scoring Line" will extend from the corner of home plate into foul
territory and will be a minimum of 6 feet in length. In order for a runner
to score the runner MUST touch a part of or cross the "Scoring Line". Any
player that slides to or over the "Scoring Line" will be considered out.
Players should avoid touching the safemat in order to avoid possible
collisions with the players.

The catcher still takes home plate for plays made to home.

***NOTE***
A runner who touches the safemat is NOT considered out, as they will have
crossed the "safeline" in order to touch the mat. However, again the runner
should try to avoid touching the mat in order to avoid possible collisions
with the players.
