Subject: BP League - Use of Illegal Bats


Hello Team Captains:

This email is being sent to all of you to once again address

the issue of the use of illegal bats.  At the captains

meeting each team captain was provided with a list of illegal

bats, as a team captain it is your responsibility to advise

your team of all rules and information passed onto you by

the executive (this includes the list of illegal bats).

As stated in the previous email "illegal bats" are deemed

illegal for a reason, they can be extremly dangerous and

can cause severe injuries to the players of the game.




We have informed all teams to make reference to the list

of illegal bats prior to purchasing bats, to avoid you

purchasing costly bats that you are unable to use.  This

league is a "fun" league and we know that the safety of the

people playing it is everyone's number one priority. So if any

teams currently have bats that are deemed illegal then please

cease using them.



NOTE: Any teams found using illegal bats will be deemed

unsportsmanlike by the league.



As per Rule 12, Section General -  of the Boston Pizza

Slo Pitch "League Rules" it states:

12. ANY TEAMS DEEMED UNSPORTSMANLIKE MAY BE SUSPENDED FROM THE LEAGUE
